The Studio Neri Torrigiani and Weber Shandwick organized “First Commissions”, a project in collaboration with international institutions such as University of Melbourne, Galleria dell’Accademia, Accademia di Belle Arti and Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini di Firenze.
“First Commissions” was a huge artistic project which involved 30 australian artists. Five of them worked on Michelangelo’s David realizing works of art founded on a simple question: what is physical perfection today?

The project was presented and exhibited on the 3rd and the 4th of July in Florence at the Accademia di Belle Arti and it will end in a collective exhibition the 27th and the 28th of July in the new Southbank campus of the University of Melbourne.
