Neri Torrigiani is a founding member of the association “Amici dell’Eremo di Santa Caterina di Rio nell’Elba”.
The project, created by Hans Georg Berger, since the 1990s promotes a unique place on the Elba island – at the center of the Tuscan Arcipelago – through several cultural projects (painting, sculpture, photography, music, dance…). The project also includes the realization of the Orto dei Semplici Elbano designed by Studio Gabetti and Isola in collaboration with Università di Pisa.
